Days here move at the pace of the jungle. Some guests spend them on safari, some on the river, some in the villages nearby, and some doing very little at all. Every experience is led by our own naturalists and guides, and none of it is set up for show.

Whether you have spent the day out in the park or resting at the resort, the sundowner is still the highlight for most guests: complimentary drinks and snacks on the riverbank at sunset, at the best hour of the day.

Chitwan Jungle Safari

Full-Day: 5-6 Hrs / Half-Day: 3-4 Hrs.

Explore Chitwan National Park in open-top jeeps with a naturalist and driver, moving through grassland and riverine forest where rhinos and tigers live.

Bird Watching

Duration: 3-4 Hrs.

Over 500 bird species live in Chitwan. Spend a morning with expert birders across wetlands, grassland and forest, including several viewing towers.

Guided Nature Walks

Duration: ~ 2 Hrs.

Walk into the forest with a naturalist. Early mornings turn up birds, tracks and plants that are easy to miss from a jeep.

Journey into Tharu Life

Duration: 1.5-2 Hrs.

A short walk from the resort brings you to a Tharu village, where local hosts show traditional homes, daily work and long-held customs.

River Safari on The Narayani

Duration: ~ 1.5 Hrs.

Drift down the Narayani in a hand-carved wooden canoe, passing crocodiles on the banks, wading birds, and whatever comes to the water’s edge.

Cultural Evening with the Tharu Community

Duration: ~ 45 mins

Musicians and dancers from the village perform the Tharu stick dance and folk songs under the open sky, with light refreshments served throughout.

Duration: ~ 45 mins

Drinks and snacks on the riverbank as the sun drops behind the Siwalik hills. Complimentary for every guest, and the favorite hour of the day.

Bush Dining

Dinner in the open air, cooked over traditional stoves by Tharu women from the village, with the forest and firelight around you.
