A Short Stay, Fully Covered/2 Nights and 3 Days in Chitwan National Park
Two nights is enough to see a good deal of Chitwan if the days are well used. This package puts you in a deluxe air-conditioned room with all meals, a half-day jeep safari inside the national park, a river safari on a traditional patela boat, and the sundowner on the riverbank at the end of the day.
You also choose between an escorted jungle walk with one of our naturalists and a guided tour of a nearby Tharu village. For groups of eight or more there is a Tharu cultural dance in the evening. National Park fees and taxes are included in the rate.
Best for: Travelers with limited time who want to experience Chitwan’s highlights.
Itinerary
Day 1
- 1:00 PM Arrival and lunch at the dining hall.
- 3:00 PM Your choice of an escorted jungle walks with a naturalist, or a guided walk to a nearby village to see Tharu life and hear about it from your guide.
- 4:30 PM Return to the resort. Free time by the pool.
- 7:00 PM Slide presentation by one of our naturalists on Chitwan National Park and its wildlife, or a Tharu stick dance by farmers from the villages nearby.
- 8:00 PM Dinner.
Day 2
- 7:30 AM Breakfast at the resort.
- 9:00 AM Morning free. Most guests use it for the swimming pool or the grounds.
- 1:00 PM Lunch at the dining hall.
- 2:00 PM Half-day jeep safari inside the national park, followed by about 45 minutes on the Narayani River in a patela boat, watching for aquatic birds, crocodiles and gharials along the banks.
- 6:00 PM Sundowner on the riverbank.
- 7:00 PM Tharu cultural dance (8 pax and above).
- 8:00 PM Dinner.
Day 3
- 8:30 AM Breakfast at the resort.
- 11:00 AM Check out and departure.

Please note: The itinerary above is indicative. Your actual program is handed to you on arrival, and it is set around the length of your stay, the season and the weather, so timings can change at short notice. Jeep safaris inside the national park are closed by the park authorities during the monsoon, June to September, and in some years into October. On safari you will be with one of our naturalists, and we ask you to follow their guidance at all times. If you would like to walk in the forest, a guide must go with you..
