  • Absolutely Incredible Stay – Highly Recommend!

We had an amazing stay at Sanctuary Chitwan Resort. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond – incredibly attentive and genuinely caring. One of our friends wasn’t feeling well on arrival, and the team immediately brought her medication, fruit, and fresh coconuts to help her recover. That level of kindness truly set the tone for the entire stay.

The rooms and the resort itself are absolutely stunning – beautifully designed and surrounded by nature. The safari program is exceptional; we saw some incredible wildlife, and one of the standout moments was enjoying breakfast in the jungle while watching wild rhinos roam nearby. Pure magic!

Our guide Tulsi was fantastic – enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about helping us spot wildlife. He worked so hard to try and find us tigers, making the experience even more exciting.

If you’re heading to Chitwan, this is the place to stay. Couldn’t recommend it more!

  • A relaxing stay, excellent safari and exceptional service

We had the most wonderful stay at The sanctuary in the Chitwan. All the staff were exceptionally kind and welcoming. In particular, our guide Roshan was absolutely excellent, his knowledge of the birds and animals we say was top knotch and he worked very hard to help us get to see all the animals we wanted to see; lots of rhinos, a sloth bear and even the illusive tiger! Another special thank you to the manager who helped organise our activity schedule and answer all our difficult questions about the treatment of the elephants by the army patrols within the park. And finally to the restaurant staff who were very patient and accomodating with my familys requests and always served us with a smile. If we ever visit the Chitwan we will be sure to visit The Sanctuary again.

  • Memorable and enjoyable stay!

Stayed here for 2 nights (08APR – 10APR) at the Villa. Property is well kept and maintained. Nice pool to enjoy sunbathing and the jungle view. Villa is spacious with separate closet space. Nice balcony to enjoy listening to the birds Enjoyed the fun Morning Safari run, educational local village walk, Sundowner with river boat ride and the museum visit. Thank you to Ajit, Tulsi and the rest of the team for the memorable and enjoyable stay!

  • An amazing experience at the Sanctuary!

We really had an amazing experience at the Sanctuary. All the staff, without exception, went out of their way to give us an unforgettable experience. A special shootout to our safari guide Roshan for his sharp eyes as we were privileged to see the rare Royal Bengal Tiger in Chitwan National Park. We stumbled across it in the jeep while it was getting ready to ambush a few deers. We robbed it of its dinner, so we’re lucky it didn’t think to attack us instead 😂. We got to see a large variety of wildlife, and during the river boat ride, we got to see lots of crocodilles and even a fresh water dolphin!
    Can’t recommend this hotel enough!

  • A Perfect Birthday Getaway – Exceptional Service & Unforgettable Experiences!

Our stay at Sanctuary Resort was nothing short of magical! From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. Their hospitality truly made all the difference, ensuring that our family had the most memorable experience.

The resort itself is a serene oasis, surrounded by breathtaking nature. We were lucky to be upgraded to the villas, which added an extra touch of luxury to our stay. The rooms were spacious, beautifully designed, and provided the perfect retreat after a day full of adventure.

The jeep and river safari were both incredible, offering us the chance to see a wide variety of wildlife up close. It was an absolute thrill for the whole family! The sundowner experience was equally amazing—watching the sunset with stunning panoramic views was simply unforgettable.

The food at the resort was another highlight. Every meal was delicious, with a perfect blend of flavors that satisfied everyone in our group. My only suggestion would be providing the set menu details as we were unaware what was exactly on the menu. They did cater to food tolerances and preferences as this was asked prior to our arrival. We also had the chance to witness the Tharu dance, which was a wonderful cultural experience.

To top it all off, celebrating a birthday here was truly special. The resort made it such a memorable occasion, making the trip even more meaningful.

Sanctuary Resort exceeded all expectations, and I cannot recommend it highly enough.

  • Extraordinary stay!

It was an extraordinary stay for me. The staff made me feel welcome; they all were professional in their service. They were accommodating and attentive to every detail, ensuring a comfortable experience.

The highlight of the trip was the guided safari with Tulsi, a highly knowledgeable naturalist. His deep understanding of wildlife and conservation efforts added a rich educational layer to the adventure. I was lucky enough to witness a one-horned rhinoceros and, to my amazement, a rare leopard sighting—an unforgettable experience!

The architecture of the lodge, designed by Mr. Palinda from Sri Lanka, beautifully blends into the natural surroundings, offering both comfort and an authentic connection to the wilderness. I enjoyed sundown drinks by the Narayani River, watching the golden hues reflect over the serene waters.

Overall, it was a balance of luxury, adventure, and cultural immersion.
    I would definitely come back.
